Nuclear new build
James Fisher Nuclear has extensive experience of supplying equipment and services to operating UK power stations and to nuclear new build projects.
The prospect of a new generation of nuclear power stations being built in the UK is welcomed by James Fisher Nuclear (JFN) as a new challenge and an opportunity to provide our extensive range of engineering expertise and project management capabilities.
To prepare for the requirements of the new build projects, JFN has completed the NAMRC’s Fit for Nuclear F4N programme and has also completed a TSB-funded research project entitled 'Optimising the Design and Implementation of non destructive testing (NDT) Inspection for New Nuclear Power Plants'.
