Safety related systems
James Fisher Nuclear has more than 25 years' of experience, gained across a broad range of industrial sectors, in the design and assessment of critical safety and control systems.
James Fisher Nuclear (JFN) focus on safety related elements, mechanisms, systems, structures and components whether for safety related, safety-critical or mission-critical systems with the underpinning objective of ensuring safe operations and minimum impact on the environment and personnel.
JFN also has over 20 graduate engineers with experience of working to IEC 61508, IEC 61511 and SQEP to work to BNF.EG.00090_1. to provide exemplary support across a range of projects.
As you would expect the delivery of safety-related projects is backed up by a comprehensive Quality Management System (QMS) which supports continuous quality assurance monitoring throughout. To deliver the configuration auditing parts of ISO 10007:2003, JFN utilises formal configuration management tools for deliverables.
This allows us to maintain coherent and traceable supporting evidence for safety system designs.
