Waste repackaging facilities
James Fisher Nuclear provides specialist modular facilities to support waste remediation that are easy to install and help you to ensure cost effective safe and secure disposal.
Waste can accumulate in a wide variety of packages most of which are considered non-compliant by long term storage and disposal sites. In many cases package contents are considered hazardous by virtue of their toxicity, combustible nature or radioactivity.
Transportable, modular facilities from James Fisher Nuclear allow operators to open existing packages, remove any non-compliant materials, categorise and stabilise the contents prior to grouting, where necessary and repackaging in compliant forms. All support services are provided including the provision of service supplies and high integrity ventilation systems.
