This “Superior” paper at the WM2017 (Waste Management) Conference featured the Pile Fuel Cladding Silo Deflector Plate Removal Project Using Long Reach Tooling and Suspended Water Jet Cutting System that was undertaken by James Fisher Nuclear at Sellfield Ltd.
The awarding of a "superior " status is to recognise authors for distinguished contributions to the advancement of radioactive waste and radioactive material management. This paper achieved the superior level rating based on the paper review judging criteria. It was judged to have demonstrated "superb knowledge and understanding, and lays the foundation for future waste management endeavours".
