Building infrastructure services
The James Fisher Nuclear building infrastructure and services (BIS) team focuses on designing and supporting the implementation of building services and nuclear infrastructure projects.
The BIS team has sound project management capability and a strong track record in delivering all aspects of engineering design to support and manage the concept through to manufacture, installation and commissioning, which is backed up by the extensive skills and supply chain resources of the wider James Fisher Nuclear (JFN) group. With a deep knowledge of the facilities and operations of the Sellafield plant, built up over nearly 30 years of operating safely on site, the BIS team has the experience to deliver projects to the strict nuclear industry requirements cost-effectively.
The BIS team has experience throughout the design and delivery lifecycle of a project in mechanical, CE&I, HVAC, civil and structural engineering disciplines.
As well as tackling new build projects, the BIS team has an extensive experience in refurbishment and upgrading existing facilities which may have come to light during a periodic safety review, an obsolescence review or a change of use of a facility.
