Putting the clear in nuclear
As a member of the Nuclear Skills Academy Nuclear (NSAN) our apprentice and graduates can access the NSAN Awareness in Nuclear (AAIN/GAIN) training programmes.
You will be enrolled onto the training programme, which is a fully facilitated, cost-effective way to allow you to obtain a comprehensive awareness of the nuclear industry. Following, you will be able to sit the Award for Nuclear Industry Awareness (ANIA) exam. The ANIA is a recognised level 2 qualification awarded by GQA Qualifications Ltd.
Your journey
Our programme will see you moving around different functions of the business over the duration of the scheme. This approach is designed to be as flexible as possible to allow effective management of your development while considering support/business resources and requirements.
The apprenticeship duration is typically 4 years which will allow candidates to achieve a higher apprenticeship. However, the duration and structure of the scheme is flexible to allow a range of entry points based on age, experience, and qualifications.
For example, a graduate on the engineering scheme could spend their time between different functions. In this example a mechanical design graduate.
