JFN’s own John Comsa, a Design Engineer based at our Egremont facility has been busy 3D Printing visors for hospitals to help with their shortages during these difficult times.

John said:

“We have friends who are consultants, so it was easy to ask what they needed and pass it on. My printer had a head blockage at one point but I fast fixed it with a steel brush hair (0.35mm), then everything worked as it should. We also have had boxes to pack them in as we just moved house.”

JFN has pledged to support him in his efforts by paying his costs and making JFN’s own 3d printer available to create a 2nd production line. (John, we think you are doing a superb job, having already delivered a batch to ICU of Royal Preston Hospital.)
