Oil and gas
Routinely operating in the harsh and challenging offshore environment, the oil and gas sector demands high technical, regulatory and QA standards for engineering systems and services.
James Fisher Nuclear (JFN) has experience of designing and building systems to oil and gas industry standards including the installation of electrical system in areas designated as ATEX 0, 1 & 2 (explosive gas-vapour-mist based atmosphere according to EU directive).
Typical (but not exclusive) JFN oil and gas project experience includes:
- a control system for conveyor and pipe handling system
- control system for a crane utilized for subsea lifting and platform mechanical handling
- manufacture of breathing air systems
