Modular/Containerized systems

Both the nuclear and offshore industries have a need for equipment to be available in support of maintenance and decommissioning for periods typically ranging between one month and three years.
Traditionally this has been addressed by installing equipment in semi-permanent structures even though they are used infrequently and for short periods.
James Fisher Nuclear has supplied equipment in support of these activities for many years and has identified a need for robust and reliable modular systems which can be deployed at short notice and then recovered.
This permits better space utilization by the operator, reduces maintenance burdens as the modular equipment is supplied in a ‘ready to operate’ state, and substantially reduces capital costs in terms of installed hardware and infrastructure with increased resource sharing across facilities.
